There are moments in life when truth doesn’t whisper — it breaks you open.

My name is Timothy Thompson, and for nearly 64 years I’ve been searching for God with everything in me. Not because someone told me to, not because it was expected, but because something inside me refused to settle for a world full of confusion, deception, and noise.

I wanted truth. I needed truth. And I prayed for it.

A Childhood Touched by Jesus

My mother introduced me to Jesus when I was young. Life wasn’t easy, but even in the struggle, I felt Him. I didn’t understand everything, but I knew He was real. That small spark of faith would become the anchor of my entire life.

The Night That Changed Everything — February 17, 1980

When I was seventeen, my friend Charles Keene invited me to his home on a specific day and time: February 17th, 1980. I didn’t know why I felt drawn to go, but something in me said I needed to be there.

That night, in the Keenes’ living room, I met the missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for the very first time.

We began with prayer — simple, sincere, and full of the Spirit. As they taught, something inside me awakened. It wasn’t pressure. It wasn’t persuasion. It was recognition. Truth has a sound, and my spirit knew it.

I felt the Holy Spirit in a way I had never felt before. I felt seen. I felt known. I felt called.

That night wasn’t an accident. It was an appointment God had arranged long before I understood what He was doing.

The Cost of Choosing God

After six lessons, I knew I needed to be baptized. But when I told my father, he gave me a choice no child should ever face:

“If you get baptized, you can’t live here anymore.”

I still remember pacing the floor, heart pounding, knowing what I had to do. I chose God.

I packed my things and walked out of my home — not because I wanted to, but because I believed Jesus was worth everything.

That night, I lost my home. But I found my purpose.

A Life Shaped by Prophecy

As the years passed, I kept praying, kept studying, kept asking God to show me truth. And He did.

Prophecy wasn’t just interesting to me — it became the language God used to wake me up. When I saw scriptures come alive, when I recognized events unfolding exactly as foretold, something inside me shifted.

Faith became knowledge. Hope became certainty. And I realized God wasn’t distant — He was speaking.

In 2010, after a sincere prayer asking God to help me understand the timing of the Second Coming, I received insights that changed everything. What many people repeat — “no one knows the day or the hour” — is only part of the story. Revelation 5 reveals that Jesus, having conquered death, received the sealed book and the knowledge within it.

He knows. And prophecy began to open before my eyes.

A World Asleep — A Calling to Wake It Up

I’ve watched prophecy unfold in ways most people never notice. I’ve seen signs the world ignores. I’ve felt the urgency of the times we’re living in.

And once you know, you can’t stay silent.

You have to tell people — even if they don’t want to hear it. You have to warn them — even if they roll their eyes. You have to love them enough to try.

Because Jesus is coming. Because truth matters. Because souls matter.

Why This Website Exists

I built The Lord’s Turning Point because the world is drowning in deception. People are confused, misled, and spiritually starving — and they don’t even know it.

This site is a place for truth. A place for light. A place for anyone who is tired of the lies and ready to seek God with a sincere heart.

Everything I share — every testimony, every insight, every message — comes from prayer, scripture, and the Spirit. I’m not perfect. I’m not special. I’m just someone who asked God for wisdom and refused to stop until He answered.
